Legal
Privacy Policy.
How we handle your information when you visit this site, book a working session, or send a note — in plain English.
Last updated: July 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Hamer Marketing Group , LLC (“Hamer,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with hamermarketing.com (the “Site”). We keep data collection deliberately minimal. The Site uses Google Tag Manager to load measurement tags (such as analytics); it runs no advertising or third-party behavioral tracking beyond what those tags collect, and it self-hosts its fonts.
1. What we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us, plus the standard technical data any website receives.
Information you provide
- Contact form. If you send a note through the form on our site, we collect your name, work email, optionally your company and ARR, and your message. These are submitted through Netlify Forms.
- Booking a call. If you book a working session, you enter your details into HubSpot’s scheduling tool (name, email, and any information you add). That data is processed by HubSpot on our behalf.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs. Our host records standard access data — IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages you view — to serve the Site and keep it secure.
- Analytics. The Site loads Google Analytics 4 (through Google Tag Manager) and the HubSpot tracking script. These collect usage data — pages viewed, referring page, approximate location, and device/browser — and set cookies. See Third parties.
2. How we use it
- To respond to your message or scheduling request and to have the conversation you asked for.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
- To keep records of our business communications with you.
- To comply with legal obligations where they apply.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. Interactive tools
Our free tools that run a questionnaire — the AI Readiness Checker and the Program Optimizer — run entirely in your browser. Your answers are not sent to us, stored, or saved anywhere; your result is calculated locally and disappears when you close the page. Tools that require you to contact us (such as a manual AEO check) are covered by the contact-form section above.
4. Third parties
We rely on a small number of reputable service providers to run the Site. Each processes data under its own privacy terms:
- Netlify — website hosting and form handling (server logs and contact-form submissions).
- HubSpot — our CRM. Handles contact-form submissions, meeting scheduling, and the resulting contact record. Its tracking script also loads HubSpot analytics and form-capture code from
js.hs-analytics.net,js.hscollectedforms.net, andjs.hs-banner.com. - Google Tag Manager (Google) — loads our measurement tags. It currently holds exactly one tag: Google Analytics 4. Nothing else is configured in it.
- Buzzsprout — hosts the podcast player embedded on our podcast pages only.
We share your information with these providers only as needed to deliver the Site and respond to you, or where required by law.
5. Cookies & tracking
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics. We run no advertising or retargeting tags. Two things set cookies here:
- Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager — measures how visitors use the Site (pages viewed, sessions, referring page, approximate location, device and browser). Used to improve the Site.
- HubSpot — our CRM. Sets cookies to recognize returning visitors, attribute form submissions and booked calls, and power the embedded scheduler. HubSpot’s Collected Forms feature also records what is typed into forms on the Site, including submissions you start but do not finish.
These load when you open the Site. We do not currently show a cookie consent banner, so they are not gated behind consent. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. The Site’s core content works without any of them — nothing on it requires JavaScript to read.
6. How long we keep it
We keep the information you send us for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and maintain a record of our business relationship, then delete or anonymize it.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, contact us and we’ll respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires. This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
8. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information and rely on providers who do the same, including encryption in transit (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
The Site is a business-to-business service and isn’t directed at children. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
